About us

The museum is a non-profit cultural and scientific organization with the mission of registering, preserving, studying, promoting, and disseminating artifacts related to the history, religion, and culture of Mongolia from the 17th to the 19th centuries, including the works of Choijin Lama Luvsankhaidav (Gujir Khamba, Niislel Ermey Golin Choijin Sahiusn Gudenbe, Erdene Biligt Tsangbishrel Khutagt) and the history, religion, and culture of Mongolia from the 17th to the 19th centuries. It has two departments: administration, research, and treasury, and 18 employees.

The Choijin Lama Temple Museum, a unique monument and a magnificent heritage of Mongolian history, religion, culture, and art, is currently continuously promoting, researching, preserving, and disseminating more than six thousand unique heritages to the public through exhibition halls, scientific works, conferences, discussions, thematic and traditional exhibitions, museum education programs, electronic content, and other means.
